Gun RAFFLE RULES

Firearm Raffle Rules:

  1. Eligibility Criteria

    • Must be a Florida resident (for handguns), at least 21 years of age, and eligible to own a firearm under federal and state law.

  2. No Purchase Necessary

    • Donations are optional and no purchases are required.

  3. Disclosure Requirement

    • The Cooper Lyles Foundation Business Address: 567 Convex Ln., St. Augustine, FL 32095

    • The winner will be selected by random drawing at the “Play Like Coop” Golf Tournament Awards Lunch on September 27th, 2025 at The Shores Golf Club.

    • This prize has been donated to The Cooper Lyles Foundation by SK Guns.

  4. Prize Value & FDACS Compliance

    • This prize is valued at $2,500.

  5. Post-Win Process

    • Winner must complete background check and waiting period via their local FFL. The firearm will be transferred by the FFL after legal vetting.

  6. Forfeiture Terms

    • If the winner fails to meet legal eligibility or complete required steps (e.g., background check) by 12/31/2025, firearm will be forfeited and your donation will not be refunded.

  7. Winners List & Records

    • The winner’s name will be available upon request, and The Cooper Lyles Foundation will maintain raffle records per FDACS guidelines.

Florida Raffle Laws (General):

  • Only IRS-qualified nonprofits (501(c)(3), (4), (7), (8), (10), or (19)) can legally conduct raffles in Florida. The Cooper Lyles Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3).

  • Mandatory disclosures:

    • The Cooper Lyles Foundation of St. Augustine, FL 32095

    • The drawing will take place at The Shores Golf Club on tournament day, September 27, 2025 during the awards lunch.

    • This prize was donated by SK Guns.

    • No purchase from, or contribution to SK Guns is necessary to enter.

  • Prizes valued over $5,000 trigger additional requirements:

    • This prize is valued at $2,500

Firearm-Specific Rules (Federal & Practical):

  • Transfer must comply with federal law.

Raffle winner will partner with their local FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) to handle the actual firearm transfer:

    • The FFL will complete ATF Form 4473 and conduct a NICS background check on the winner.

  • Age restrictions and waiting periods must be observed. Florida law requires purchasers of firearms to be at least 21 and imposes a mandatory 3-day waiting period (unless exempted, e.g., concealed permit holders).

  • Verification of eligibility.

Winner must confirm legality of ownership (e.g., age, residency, background check) before receiving the firearm.

If you are deemed NOT to be eligible, you will NOT BE REFUNDED your donation. Another winner will be drawn.
